Solstice Gong Night in Laitse Granitvilla

22 March 2024 @ 21:00 23 March 2024 @ 11:00

The arrival of the spring equinox marks the beginning of a new season, bringing with it the awakening of both nature and people. It is the time when everything begins to live again - plants and trees sprout, and our bodies and minds begin to feel a new freshness and vitality, as if awakened from hibernation. In this spirit of renewal, we invite you to join us on a therapeutic journey where mind and body unite, opening to the freshness and energies of spring.
Come and celebrate this special time in nature with a gong night, which takes place between the historic supporting walls of Laitse Graniitvilla. Time seems to stop there - the first breaths of spring meet the hypnotic sounds of the gong, creating a unique, calming and healing environment.
This sound-filled space creates order out of chaos, awakens dormant minds and brings clarity to the eyes. Gong Night is an invitation to participate in a magical event where each participant lights their soul candle, which burns through the night, illuminating the journey from darkness to light. It is a moment that is etched in the memory—a time filled with deep meaning and renewal.
The spring equinox and the subsequent gong night are a true celebration of new beginnings, an opportunity to join nature's renewal. This is the time when we can reconnect with ourselves, do a major inner cleaning and feel how spring surrounds and supports us.
The Spring Equinox Gong Night - an event that will stay with us for a long time.
Space is created and maintained by:
Tauno Kangro - ritual lighting of soul candles. The candle that each participant lights for himself will burn throughout the night.
Andres Põhjala and Kaisa Laht on gongs.
The gong is an ancient and awe-inspiring metal percussion instrument with a powerful and all-encompassing sound. Considered to be one of the oldest musical instruments in the world, this sacred instrument is known for its mystical sound and rich overtones. These sounds promote deep relaxation and help achieve a peaceful state of mind.
We are accompanied on this journey by 4 different gongs and a shaman's drum.
On Gong Night, we play gongs non-stop for 8 hours, creating a meditative and relaxing environment. Participants lie on mattresses and sheepskins, letting the sounds of the gong surround them throughout the night.
The sounds of the gong affect the brain, bringing it into a state of alpha and theta waves, which in turn supports the growth of creativity and strengthens the immune system. Our thoughts, feelings, emotions, words and actions are also vibrations that we emit. With the help of gong sounds, it is possible to organize, change and balance these vibrations.
People who have participated in gong meditations and ceremonies often report that they feel rested, refreshed and full of inspiration after the session. They find new solutions to problems, answers to questions and experience inner peace, joy, bliss and bursts of creativity.
NB!
The first 30 participants who purchase a ticket can use Laitse Graniitvilla single 10 cm thick mattresses and sheepskin. To make your Gongiöö experience comfortable and enjoyable, bring your own mattress or mat (can be inflatable or any other).
The rooms are warm, but take an extra blanket or blanket and a pillow. Of course, you can also use a sleeping bag. Make just the kind of nest you like for yourself and your partner or the whole family.
TICKET EUR 55 per person. Children up to 17 years free.

On the gongs:
Andres Põhjala - you can read here: https://andrespohjala.com/minust/
Kaisa Laht - I am a lifelong music lover and I love its many different ways of expression. Music is both relaxing and inspiring to me. In addition, I am also a passionate student of psychotherapy, as I want to help people improve their mental well-being, which often underlies physical well-being, and I am otherwise an ardent advocate of self-improvement.
In the past, I have worked for a long time in the field of design, where I have been able to use and develop my artistic talent through self-expression, bringing order and harmony to this world. I also practice meditation, which helps me be more present and aware. The gong night is a pleasant way for me to combine my interest in music and the human soul. I invite you to come and share this wonderful experience with me.
